Edwin is founder and director of the Dutch Hair Foundation, the leading independent knowledge platform on hair problems and hair loss in the Netherlands. As a hair health expert with personal experience, he is committed to improving awareness, guidance and public understanding of hair and scalp conditions.

Commitment to reliable sources of information

Edwin’s personal experience with hair loss at a young age led to a determined search for answers and solutions. When he realised that reliable information and support were limited, he co-founded the Dutch Hair Foundation in 2011 together with colleagues.

Today, the foundation has grown into one of the most important independent information sources in the Netherlands on hair loss, hair concerns and treatment options, with more than one million unique visitors each year seeking trustworthy knowledge about hair health.

Edwin combines his personal experience with his role as director and expert to help people gain insight into the causes of hair loss, its impact and possible treatment options. He guides and advises both individuals and professionals in the hair care sector, helping them make informed and understandable choices.
